The Jewish religion is under attack in Europe, declared the Conference of European Rabbis president Pinchas Goldschmidt. Many polls (such as the study on behalf of the German Social Democratic Friedrich Ebert Foundation) bring an iconic number measuring the disaster: 150,000,000 Europeans have a delegitimizing and demonizing view of the State of Israel and its citizens.
For a large sector of Europe, the cities, skyscrapers, hospitals, cinemas, and schools on that tiny sliver of land named "Israel" are merely real estate that will be restored to Islam once this malefic Jewish form is swept away.
This is a popular mobilization against Israel in the Raus mit Uns spirit. 150,000,000 Western citizens believe that Zionism is a misconceived project to be brought to an end as soon as possible. It is the consequence of the Palestinian-Islamic psychological war (note: the European Union has just contributed 20 million to the payment of salaries and pensions for April of nearly 76,000 Palestinian Arabs).
(A)ccording to Europes mainstream, peace will prevail when Israel is dismantled, just like tranquility will prevail in the Holy Land when Zionism has been eliminated.

Ummm...they all immigrated from Muslim hellholes and entrenched themselves in Europe?
No idea, but I’m hoping the answer is C because the idea of there being a walled off Spanish city on the Northern Coast of Africa is pretty cool.
In America, conservatives have not yet been turned out and dealt with like the Jews. Not yet.
>>The Jewish religion.....
>>...the State of Israel and its citizens.
>>...land named Israel....
>>...Zionism...
A great lie is told to the people of the west that makes many believe that these four are the same thing and that they are the same as the biblical nation of Israel. They arent.
Oh, really?
You keep on believing that.
Go right ahead...
We’re a heckuva lot better armed than the Jews of Europe, know our history, and won’t give them up without a serious, serious fight.
Jews are the canaries in the coal mine. When they start dropping over, Christians and conservatives are next.
Yes, the photo is from Ceuta, north of Morrocco.
“Santa Fe has seasonal rainfall and that made a big difference.”
The Southwest gets the monsoon most every year these days. As you observed, the river is what makes the difference. As you know, the Spanish created a very sophisticated irrigation system for delivering water to the farms - almost a cultural thing, really.
“How ever would they have realized the 80 year drought cycle would be over by the 1620s.”
It lends some credence to your “Devout historians” theory. One cannot study the Spanish conquest and not marvel at providence of so much that happened large and small. I’m reminded of the legend of the Lady in Blue wherein Spanish explorers encountered crosses and indians already schooled in Jesus, supposedly taught by a white lady in blue who decended from above (whether they really did or not, the account is very old).
Same with Israel and the jews (back to topic). Is there a divine hand at work? of course. If we are Christians, we believe this is true. None of us should be surprised at the depths of jew hate in the world which has been with us since the beginning. To speak of the Holocaust outside of this context almost diminishes the enormity of jewish persecution throughout the long centuries. They are God’s chosen after all, poor b*****ds.
“Europe - the worlds most prolific killing field, in all of history.”
How do you measure that? By capita? By volume? Surface area? Historical accounts?
Maybe that’s true, maybe not. Why does it matter?
Historical accounts.
Using your continental measuring stick and historical accounts, I’d put my $$ on Asia by a mile - a hundred miles. Asia’s been at the “prolific killing field” game far longer than Europe and in far greater numbers.

"That archaeologist found a seal belonging to a Jewish king from 3200 years ago."
"How awful. I had no idea the Occupation had been going on that long."
