Large tornado confirmed on the ground.
Weather service has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation warning.

KFOR reporting one confirmed fatality near Dale, OK area.
Search & Rescue crews being requested for the Shawnee area.
Mobile home park is ‘gone’ near Shawnee, total destruction.......nothing left....backside of cell is still there....debrie path looks like a path thru a cornfiled...terrible.
They are showing this so people realize the strength and violence of this storm.
Still a warning up in South Central Kansas:

CDT...
At 704 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles northwest of Cedar Vale... and moving northeast at
45 mph.
Hazard... developing tornado and ping pong Ball size hail.
Source... radar indicated rotation. At 702 PM... a wall cloud was
reported southeast of Dexter.
Impact... Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed.
Significant damage to roofs... windows and vehicles will
occur. Flying debris will be deadly to people and animals.
Extensive tree damage is likely.

Not so...they said you had to be below ground to survive this tornado cluster....not everyone has basements...the mobile home park was leveled...nothing left!
Unfortunately looks like some people stupidly sheltered under the I-40 overpass.
One semi truck was thrown ‘off the overpass’ on to the lower level!.... This is one wicked storm!
147 completely shut....a little late though... the police were trying to get people off it before it hit...stupid people!

First tornado that moved through Shawnee is now in Prague area. Weatherman is saying it is still an F4.
Looks like the trajectory will put it just south of the Tulsa Metro area.
I understand that’s the worst place to go because of the tornado pulling you out of there...I don’t understand wind and such but saw a film of people who used their camera while under there and it is not a place to be.

Unfortunately, no. Fatality already reported and numerous vehicles were overturned at the I-40 and 177 intersection.
