The White House's chief lawyer learned weeks ago that an audit of the Internal Revenue Service likely would show that agency employees inappropriately targeted conservative groups, a senior White House official said Sunday.
That disclosure has prompted a debate over whether the president should have been notified at that time.
In the week of April 22, the Office of the White House Counsel and its head, Kathryn Ruemmler, were told by Treasury Department attorneys that an inspector general's report was nearing completion, the White House official said. In that conversation, Ms. Ruemmler learned that "a small number of line IRS employees had improperly scrutinized certain
organizations by using words like 'tea party' and 'patriot,' " the official said.

But hey, it’s all a “sideshow”.
There has never been a time in the history of the US where
information about what is going on has been so readily availiable.
Yet, we have a president who claims on a regular basis that he
knows not what is going around him. Is there a saturation point
where finally his toadies in the media and the population,
in general, stands up and says “ this guy is just too damnned
ignorant to be our leader”?

Goebbels stuck by Hitler until the bitter end.
The racist, fascist chocolate Reich ruling Amerika is just as evil as the Third Reich.
The negro nazi party will rule Amerika as long as God allows them to.
Yet, if we went back further in time... what would we find:
I have something to tell you... but you need to look over my shoulder at the mirror.
Now, see that guy in the mirror... he know that our plan to have the IRS kick the ass of all those Tea Party racists is working to win us re-election!
Then later... things did not go as planned--
Remember what that guy in the mirror knew... Well, he now knows an IRS inspector general is looking into it, but we have it covered up and the press will keep it quiet.
I love you Kathryn! You... keep that guy in the mirror so up to date.
And of course nowadays... the beat goes on--
"Of course I was told that an IRS inspector general was investigating a small number of low level IRS employees... that had allegedly improperly scrutinized certain organizations by using words like 'tea party' and 'patriot' and such--
But it is ridiculous to think I would ever... mention it to the President!
And as I keep telling you, it is irrelevant... if White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler did say or didn't say anything about the IRS IG Report to the President.
"Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?"-Henry II, King of England
Seems to me that anyone who knew of this activity, but did nothing to at least inform the President and or the Justice Department should be charged with ‘Conspiracy”.
Please....This IRS program came right from Obama...Everybody knew from its inception. That’s what Community Organizers do.
It has reached a point where I would trust Obama’s competency more as a president if he did know and was doing everything possible to destroy his opponents. If he really didn’t know any of this stuff that was going on, he’s the least competent and dumbest person to ever walk the halls of the WH.
What else could be new? Start looking for disappearances and bodies in the Potomac, as the whistle blowers TRY to come forward. Obama and his running dogs are Chicago thugs, and will use violence and intimidation to stop any breaking of the ranks of their regime.
This is a very good read.
Obama is ONE BAD CAT:
