The grieving mother of a 6-year-old killed in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School joined Illinois Democrats on Sunday in calling for a statewide ban on high-capacity ammunition magazines.
Nicole Hockley choked up when discussing the December massacre in Newtown, Conn., that claimed her son Dylan.
"In Newtown, we learned the brutal truth about the devastation that high-capacity magazines can cause," said Hockley inside the Thompson Center in downtown Chicago.
Hockley, who was joined by fellow Newtown parents Mark Barden and Francine Wheeler, said the proposed law — Senate Bill 1002 — could save innocent lives

Limiting the magazine capacity will do nothing but ensure that you run out of ammo before the bad guys.
Those people have forfeited any sympathy for their loss. They are reaching the level of contempt I reserve for Tom Mauser.

Meanwhile, the families of those murdered on SEP 11 2012 in Benghazi continue to be ignored.
I was sick of them months ago. They have turned themselves into prostitutes of the left. They get paid for these crying jags on TV. I despise them.

Sorry...one being a crime victim gives her no right nor particular insight to negate a constitutional right. I’m not giving up my right to defend my family and property because of her horrible loss!!!

I hate to break it to these liberal, “grieving” parents but even the media realizes this fight is over for now and has moved on.

No, they’ve learned the language of victimology where the first lesson is the blame always falls on an inanimate object so it can be demonized.
Show these families no respect for they deserve no respect.

The angle on this is the Chicago gang is trying to weaken the resolve of the downstate dems who are 1) blocking any ban legislation, and 2) keeping conceal carry close to succeeding. If you live in IL in an area where you have a dem senator or rep who is wobbly on guns, now is the time to let your voice be heard.
