At the moment when IRS leadership learned that the IG of the organization was going to check this out...there should have been a question over what was going on, and how do we fix this... immediately put into place.

Even today...nothing has been done, and numerous organizations are approaching three years with no exemption still. I don’t see how you avoid being taken into court, and judges from southern states just might be willing to award fairly healthy damages.....into the tens of millions...for individual cases.

And no one ever briefed the President? That’s the shocking part.

I am overdue for a colonoscopy.

I could go to the doctor, but it might be easier to just file for tax exempt status as a Tea Party organization.

“When the agents finished their raid, Barnes said they then used the John Doe Company facilities to relax, eat and watch sports on television. “Adding insult to injury, after unlawfully seizing the records and searching their intimate parts, defendants decided to use John Doe Company’s media system to watch basketball, ordering pizza and Coca-Cola, to take in part of the NCAA tournament, illustrating their complete disregard of the court’s order and the Plaintiffs’ Fourth Amendment rights,” the suit said.”

We’ll probably never find anything written or recorded...no paper or electronic trail. But a nod and a wink and an “innocent” remark can have just as devastating repercussions. “Will no one rid me of these troublesome conservatives?” uttered by someone who might reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue could be enough words for lackeys to take the hint.

This illegal activity requires a criminal investigation. It is clearly a conspiracy, whether Obama is involved, or not.

A special prosecutor is needed, as the Justice Dept is politically biased. Starting at the bottom, these IRS criminal suspects need to be grilled thoroughly, reminded that if they refuse to tell who told them to do this, then they will take the full brunt of the law. Either talk or face jail & ruin.

In my lifetime, the power of the Executive has grown exponentially, while the powers of the Congress & Supreme Court have not. What once was a republic of checks & balances is now a corrupt Aristocracy. Presidents routinely make war without a declaration of war. They control the power of the IRS, EPA, NRLB, & many other pseudo-enforcement agencies who can jail & impoverish ANYONE without due process. The Bill of Rights is "irrelevant", as is the rule of law. The Executive branch & the bureaucracy are immune from prosecution because they control the Justice Department.

I hope when our new constitution is written, a 4th branch of gov’t is created to prosecute illegal activities in our gov’t, independent of the other branches. Alternately, the Supreme Court could have a department to do the above. Perhaps then the crimes of all gov't employees can be dealt with properly.
