"Some people dislike gays. Others dislike guns. We should not base our laws on personal dislikes," reads one ad
A new campaign cropping up around Washington state is intended to strike a chord with gay and lesbian gun owners by comparing gun control to anti-LGBT discrimination.
The illustrated posters feature slogans like, “We won our right to marry, now it’s time to defend our right! And we sure as hell aren’t going to take shit from homophobes in the process!” and, “Some people dislike gays. Others dislike guns. We should not base our laws on personal dislikes.”
A QR code on the ads directs curious readers to an antigun control website that calls armed self-defense a human right and offers quizzes with questions like:
The proper response to an arson is …
1) prohibit you and other law-abiding citizens from buying gasoline.
2) prohibit you and other law-abiding citizens from buying any flammable fluids, matches and lighters.
3) prosecute the perpetrator of the crime.
As the Stranger reports, the campaign’s origins remain something of a mystery:
“Nale Dixon,” who’s credited for drawing the cartoon of the gay couple, returns no search results online. The pro-gun website is run by a dude named Oleg Volk, “An American,” but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s responsible for papering the hill with them. Without someone to credit, it’s impossible to glean the posterer’s intentions.

Why does the second poster look like a sugar daddy and his boi toy?
“We should not base our laws on personal dislikes”...
But, you can hate a conservative that loves God and hates the act of sodomy, loves infants in the womb and hates the act of abortion or loves free speech and hates the act of censorship.
THOSE personal “dislikes” are AOK with Benghazi Hussein Obama and his supporters.
Creepy idiots.
I’s like equating the gay thing to the Equal rights struggle.
One of the reasons queers die of aids is because THEY DO TAKE SHIT from each other. Soul-sick, degenerate vermin ...
I’m down with the first poster. The second one is stupid.
i would say they are making thinly veiled threats while brandishing weapons.
Anyone slightly disturbed by the second ad.
The difference being, guns are mentioned in the constitution. Homosexual marriage isn’t.
I like my guns and I don’t like queers.
Come and get me faggies!
Um...there seems to be a rather sizable age difference in the second poster.
As in, if I dated a gal that much younger than me, I’d probably go to jail.
There is a Second Amendment.
Where is the Queer Amendment?
Homosexuality is abnormal and is not in the Constitution. The second amendment is totally normal, moral and Constitutional.
Not quite. Arms are mentioned, and they are not defined. Rats are now fairly uninhibited about infringing everybody's right to self defense.
The left is also acting like this attack on traditional marriage is limited to same sex marriage. Only a fool thinks that. It's not far fetched to see Mormons and Muslims making common cause to repeal bans on polygamy. Just wait for the next iteration of the left's attack on traditional values after that, if the Supreme Court decides queer marriage id OK.
When I lived in Los Angeles. I used to see lesbians at the indoor range shooting all the time. Every time really.
I bet if we had data, it would show that nearly every butchy-type lesbian had a gun of some kind.
Q: What do you call a hundred heavily-armed lesbians?
A: Militia Etheridge.
I’ll be here all week. Enjoy the chicken.
One is a God given right (self-defense) while the other is clearly not (gay marriage).
I wish conservatives would distinguish what gays do in the privacy of their own homes, with what they want to do in public or demand the public do for them. I would aver that gays do have some legitimate rights which conservatives should refrain from attacking. That does not, of course, mean they have the "right" to have their unions be considered marriages, but gays who are seeking merely the right to conduct themselves privately should be considered allies rather than enemies.
They both look like that. I think at least they’re being honest about pederasty.
