Sounds like the DHS has become rather large and powerful, kinda like right under our noses...
First, tank the economy. Then create a vast army of unemployed. Sustain this effort so newly indoctrinated and recently graduated college age kids are hungry for work.
Then create as many new Gubmint agencies as possible....agencies who will be looking for staff.
I'd say that his plan is working out pretty well.

While applaud your optimism, unless we immediately begin to gut the public school system this constant stream of leftists bent on our destruction will continue.

Do a web search for “occupy wall street DHS” and you should discover that the DHS also targeted the OWS freaks and losers.
the DHS personnel records need to get hacked and released so the public can see who may soon be pointing a weapon at them, thus the reason for all that ammo. Those folks would put a bullet in the head of any American that stands up to this tyranny.
Now an ICE agent is guarding the IRS to protect it against a citizen instead of guarding the boarder to protect that same citizen against foreign infiltration. The citizen is now the enemy? Or merely something to control?
