Rubbish.
Firstly, a minority of British people actually own guns, and the vast majority of British homeowners shopowners therefore are not armed with guns. Most will be armed with swords, knives and bats, perhaps an air weapon.
Secondly, a tiny amount of homeowners have been jailed. I can think of just two in the last 15 years and I am British.
A lot of what is reported in the US about British self defence law is simply rubbish. God knows how many times I have had to post here to correct nonsense.
what i’ve read posted here about prosecution of citizens using guns against burglars and self defense has come from uk papers. daily mail, and others. not american papers.
Rubbish? We have to correct YOU! Anyone can read the laws and the laws there have banned nearly everything.
