I don’t know all the potential players, but Gowdy is a sharp guy with some charisma and presence. As much criticism as Graham has received over the years, he still pushed for amnesty in 2006 and 2007, then survived re-election in 2010.
Graham obviously has some support as well as some intense opposition from others. It’ll take someone fairly impressive to beat him in the Republican primary of 2016 and Gowdy is in a position to become a real star over the next many months. He’s already becoming a star to many.

Love Trey Gowdy. I’ve been enjoying his refreshing knowledge and to the point accuracy for quite sometime now in these little “dog & pony shows” on Capitol Hill. He needs to be rewarded with a chair position on some powerful committee.
I was listening to the testimony, or lack thereof, on the radio and when Gowdy said what he said, I let go of the steering wheel and clapped and high fived myself.
After watching her speak to a large group of Charitable orgs, I am convinced of her utter arrogance. It was hard to watch. That bad!
They described Gowdy very well. If I were picking team members I would not want him on the other side. He is cunning, quick witted and ruthless.
I have not seen enough of him to say I’d vote for him for Pres but he needs to be a spinator.
He and Cruz would be a pair to draw to.
That felt odd to me. I looked to see whether her attorney reacted. Didn't they have a little conference before she answered?
She might want to get another attorney, but I guess it's too late now.
