Someone sent me a legal quote indicating the governor can relieve a sheriff of his post. But, they have an army, so to speak. So, in practical terms that may not happen. It will be interesting to watch. Expect popcorn sales to spin out of sight.
The sheriff could call out the militia
I doubt this governor would do it. Blathering for his NYC, Buffalo and other Urban majority denizens. They, in those places, don’t have any guns!
