The Denver Post and local TV stations claimed a small turnout, but there were between 100 and 150 enthusiastic protesters with clever signs for a full hour. No astroturf there. The real thing. The Tea Party is alive!

The first Tea Party was quite small and look at the results they had.

I find many liberals don’t know what TEA stands for- most think it is just a reference to the Boston Tea Party. I think this was deliberate on the part of liberals in power and the media. It is easier to get folks riled up against some “racist” “hate” group than folks that are protesting taxes. My liberal Boston neighbor had no idea what TEA stood for and had all sorts of weird ideas about those “dangerous” people. It would be funny, if it wasn’t so serious.

At some point conservatives have to realize that to most folks out there conservatives and liberals are just like brand A and B at the store. If brand A sells itself better and brand B keeps quiet then guess which brand sheeple will most likely follow?

I liked that one too. The right seems much more original and clever than the left. I started doing videos after the first Denver Tax Day Tea Party. Then Nancy Pelosi came to town and called her fellow Americans astroturf and nazis. Felt obligated to reply. Did several on DNC astroturf operations, especially after the big 912 demonstration in DC. Some are tongue in cheek. You might get a laugh, and a refresher on how long this manipulation has been going on.

Yes I was here...but the point is we let the liberals define the TEA party just like we let them define our candidates. Doesn’t work out well for us, but for some reason we keep doing it.
