Disarming America
Even before Obama care they were trying to label every sort of behavior as a mental issue or learning disability. Obama care will just make it happen more and with greater consequence.
We were all better off when only seriously mentally ill or mentally disabled people were diagnosed and treated. When it came to everyone else the theory was “takes all kinds to make the world go round” and unless there was an urgent reason to intervene people just lived and let live. Everyone has their quirks, there is no perfect in human nature.
This business, and it is a big business of diagnosing and treating people who are seen as “different” is dangerous, scary stuff. Not only will many needlessly take dangerous medications, the possibility of using that against those that don’t conform is definitely there. It is chilling that people who choose to store things for a future emergency could be labeled with a mental illness. More will follow- how about “worshipping” the Constitution, or the flag...
Very chilling and deserves to be reposted. I think there should be a motivation among all people to plan for disaster and be as self-sufficient as possible. The government cannot possibly respond to every emergency fast enough to provide everyone with basics immediately- even in the best possible response. To call the idea of not totally depending on government to save you from everything a possible mental illness is lunacy itself.
I grew up in snow country and at times we were snowed in, one winter for most of a month we could not get to town. I remember the people that didn't prepare were considered crazy.

Precisely- You will immediately be labelled as a ‘hostile patient’ for refusign treatment- and it’s goign to get to hte point where doc offices do not ASK you to coem see them anymore, they will DEMAND that you see them or else!
Docs have been pushing anti-depressents for many many years- and I swear it was all in preperation for this day- so that under obummercare you will be deemed unfit to own a gun and will be udner forced treatment of the govenrment

using medical terminology to describe any “bad behavior” as “a medical condition” and not what it often is - someone has not learned how to behave socially because they have not had sufficient impediments to that behavior put in front of them by parents and society
as for “hoarding” - it’s another form of behavior an addictive personality latches onto, instead of drugs or alcohol or sex; for ALL addiction is NOT caused by the observable symptomatic expression - a drug, alcohol, sex, hoarding - it is an acquired personality sydrome in which the ability to quit what the person knows is NOT good behavior is weak at the start and weakened more continually by repitition. hoarding is not a separate “mental disease”, it is another manifestation of “addiction” and how someone can slide into addiction IS what every expression of it has in common
At age 56, I probably have 15-20 years left on this earth. As this formerly great country disintegrates and ceases to exist and its population becomes anarchic and feral, my cessation of earthly existence will be a welcome one.
