Bet they have a brown alert zone of 100 feet.
I could not do that ride.
NO THANKS! Not for me!
This is down the street from me lets hope they have a bigger ladder truck than we do
BUENA PARK, Calif. (KTLA)— About 20 people are stuck in an amusement park ride at Knott’s Berry Farm.
The ride-goers are dangling 300 feet in the air on the “Windseeker” ride.
The Orange County Fire Authority said they had not been called about the matter Wednesday and were also not called when the ride malfunctioned the first time in September.
WindSeeker opened to the public Aug. 24. Its metal arms swinging riders for a 60-second flight at a 45 degree angle at a speed of eight rotations per minute, according to Knott’s website.
This ride also became stuck on September seventh. And in the articles it states the rescue squad was not called either time. I’m not getting any video feed yet and the news has not been updated. The problem is the ride itself is too high for any of the equipment the fire department has. So they are attempting to repair the ride in situ as the danger of trying to evacuate by rappelling is far too dangerous.
Live some of the experience ...

Even though I pass it several days a week, I’ll pass.
When will it all stop? Now that Texas has built a 400' tall ride, do you think that somebody will build a taller one someplace else? And if they do, don't you think Texas will come out with yet a taller ride?
I am thinking at some point, amusement park rides will require oxygen masks because they will be so far off the ground that there will be insufficient oxygen at the top.
At some point, we could see an amusement park ride that will take you over 100,000 feet into the air and spin you around in near zero gravity. How much would they charge for a ride such as that?
Oh,HELL no!!
