N.Y. 3 Feet of Snow: Reversed Global Warming Causes Unusual Amount of Snowfall on Memorial Day Weekend In New York [PHOTOS]

3 feet of snow had just fallen in New York over Memorial Day weekend, and the unusual amount of snowfall sparked speculations that say the extreme weather was caused by reversed global warming.

Although during May of last year, the temperature had been going up due to global warming, this year's Memorial Day weekend experienced what some have called "reversed global warming," as the temperature is dropping much more than usual.

Residents of New York were surprised to have to pull out their winter coats rather than enjoy Memorial Day barbeque on a warm, sunny day.

It’s an odd article...the other mentions of snow in Vermont and Red Hampshire are also accurate...if they had left the line out about the city and Long Island; it would have made sense. Wonder where that came from? Weird.

That’s just not true.

All through the sierra temps were 15 to 20 degrees below normal all weekend. Friday morning we woke up to 34 degrees.

The rain mixed with very wet snow on the south shore of Long Island at 9 pm Friday night... Did not last long, a few minutes, but to even see a mix of we snow on 5/25/13 is amazing...
