Whether the jerk who sent this is a gun owner or not—he puts all gun owners under suspicion.

SkyNewsBreak New York police say two letters addressed to Mayor Michael Bloomberg

& his gun control group contained material believed to be ricin poison.

The mayor has previously engaged in gun running himself, so I wouldn't put it past him to have arranged for a ricin letter or two.

The man has no credibility.

I don’t understand this report. It is clearly ILLEGAL to mail ricin to politicians.

They probably got confused, or something.

He’ll probably want to ban high capacity envelopes next.

Planned Parenthood usually reports receiving mail with mysterious white powder one or two days before election day. The news media runs wild with the story. They do it to gin up the liberal base. After the election you don’t hear anything more about it. I smell B.S.

The clown is a publicity hound for his MAIG crusade. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a false positive with a quick screening test for ricin, but when an infrared spectra is taken, it's not confirmed as ricin.

Ban all envelopes/ other package mailing material. It's for the children.

Besides ricin, paper cuts hurt!

I suspect you're right....we always hear its "ricin" but we never hear the final testing....

sort of like the swine flu from a couple of years ago.....they never actually tested you for swine flu....they tested you for regular flu and if that was negative, and you had flu like symptoms, that just ASSUMED you had swine flu....thus, the numbers looked big....
