Girl Scouts Join Planned Parenthood at Huge Pro-Abortion Conference

Anna Maria Chávez, CEO of Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA), offers this pithy saying as her favorite quote. In order to figure out who the Girl Scouts are, I suppose we must follow Ms. Chávez’ logic and look at the organizations that GSUSA associates with.

A good place to start would be the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). WAGGGS has member organizations across the globe, the largest of which is GSUSA, contributing approximately a quarter of the ten million members that belong to WAGGGS. GSUSA is a co-founder of WAGGGS and one of WAGGGS’ largest financial supporters, paying over $1 million each year in membership fees which are triggered by each girl and adult member’s annual GSUSA registration.

The global organization is a well-known advocate for sexual and reproductive rights, including abortion, for youth, and claims to speak for all of its 10 million members.

and teaching skills and building memories for a whole lifetime for many many girls, just as other GS leaders did for me

Just recovering from taking over 150 kids (and 75 of their parents) camping last weekend, many for their first time

so LOL LOL LOL .... what did you do last weekend and how many people’s lives did you affect for the better?

Affect for the better? So an org that encourages little girls to embrace the contraceptive culture affects them for the better? I think not. I refuse to allow my daughter to be influenced by something so destructive.

So go ahead & keep lying to yourself about the Girl Scouts’ radical feminist agenda. Not me.

And as far as what did I do last weekend & how many lives I affected, I could positively influence more people by sitting at home praying the rosary for them than deluding them into accepting the culture of death promoted by the Girl Scouts.

And as if its any of your business, I worked last weekend at a children’s hospital caring for children undergoing surgery.

Don’t try to sell your BS to me about GSUSA. Take it somewhere else

and her teachers dont belong to the NEA, right? More contacts with and open support to Planned Parenthood

Presumably you have vetted the hospital you work at to make sure you are not taking a salary from any medical organization that has any contacts with Planned Parenthood, such as attending conferences where PP advocates are also attending or presenting any material or literature

and surely you vetted that your hospital doesn’t perform abortions or refer women who seek them to other abortion providers - probably with resources provided by ...... Planned Parenthood

and make sure that the CEO and execs of your hospital and its umbrella corporations, donors, grantmakers, medical suppliers and its big pharma suppliers and everyone in the food chain NEVER never attends conferences in company with execs from, makes money from or donates money to any cause than benefits .... abortion

otherwise you would be a hyocrite, no?
And worse than me, a paid employee of an organization or many that directly support “the culture of death”

Now we shall agree to disagree on what constitutes “support” and I shall take my BeeEss to another year of GS planning, membership is up!

Oh I do pray the rosary for myself. As for those “catholic” voters, most of those are catholic in name only but I suspect you already know that. And I suspect you also know the Catholic vote alone couldn’t have elected Obama; he scored big with the Protestants, too. But lets stick to the thread topic, shall we?

Yes, I’m well aware of who the YMCA & YWCA support, as well as the Salvation Army. I don’t support those organizations, nor various medical societies that propogate the destruction of embryos for research (American Cancer Society). The hospital I work for does not provide abortions nor does it support PP, not even thru United Way.

You must be so proud to support PP via your involvement with the GSUSA. If you are, I’ll pray for you, and might I suggest FreeRepublic isn’t the forum for you. You should take your support for Planned Parenthood over to the DU
