A threat to kill Prince Harry was made just 24 hours after the brutal slaying of soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich.
Ashraf Islam, 30, was arrested in London after confessing he wanted to murder the soldier prince.
After an investigation by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command, Islam, from West London, was charged with threats to kill the third in line to the throne.
A Scotland Yard spokesman yesterday confirmed that he pleaded guilty to the charge at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court

It is feared that Harry, known in the Army Air Corps as Captain Wales, is the Taliban’s number one target because of his two high-profile tours of Afghanistan and his public support for military causes.
The assassination plot was revealed after the Sunday Mirror told last week how the prince had been warned to be extra vigilant following the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, 25, who was wearing a Help for Heroes T-shirt.

A well-placed royal source said last night: “Prince Harry’s security is constantly reviewed and has been massively stepped up in the last 10 days. This case and the horrific murder of Lee Rigby show that there is constant danger. Harry’s security team cannot be complacent.
“He is a target for many reasons and his protection officers know they have to be extremely vigilant.
“While there is relief this man has been caught, Harry’s security team are mindful this may be a sign of things to come.”

Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said at the time: “‘We are using all our strength to get rid of him, either by killing or kidnapping. We have informed our commanders to do whatever they can to eliminate him.”

Dai Davies, former head of Scotland Yard’s royal protection squad, said: “Never has it been more important to recognise that the fanatics who are today’s terrorists are quite capable of planning an attack on the young royals.
“It would be prudent that given the recent events in London, Paris and the Middle East that the threat level is properly scrutinised and where deemed necessary additional resources are put in place. Prince William and Harry do a magnificent job in their current roles.
“The British Royal Family have never shied away from serving their people by public displays, official visits and ceremonies.
“It is this very openness that sometimes can create difficulties for Scotland Yard’s protection officers. The protection officers have an excellent record in conjunction with other security services in keeping them as safe as possible. It is important that the security review is constant.”

On Harry’s return to the UK he gave a controversial interview in which he compared flying military helicopters to playing computer games and revealed he had been responsible for the deaths of one or more insurgents.
He said: “The squadron’s been out here. Everyone’s fired a certain amount. Take a life to save a life.
“That’s what we revolve around. If there’s people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we’ll take them out of the game.”
He added: “It’s a joy for me because I’m one of those people that loves playing PlayStation and Xbox, so with my thumbs I like to think I’m probably quite useful.”

The Brits were never told by NuLabour (Blair) on how many immigrants were being allowed in, the Brits were certainly never consulted about it. But now they know and they’re pretty angry. At least the people I know are angry.

Harry was doubtless a naughty boy at times and escaped appropriate punishment from his doting mum.
This could be karma...you know, finally getting his just desserts for the unpunished naughtiness by having to worry about his safety, night and day.
