TCM, AMC, FMC... all have older movies playing that are far better and far more entertaining than hollyweird today... all hollyweird can do today is destroy any movie with a remake.

TCM is still good. I DVD many old movies from them to watch in winter. Nailed THE COURT JESTER last night! One of my old favorites!
AMC and FMC along with IFC used to be good with lots of old uncut movies an no commercials. Then they went commercial and now they are not, to me, worth watching. Now they advertize other shows in the corner while the movie is still playing. Very distracting!
TNT and TBS used to be good for old movies with seven minute commercial breaks. A two hour movie could run for three hours. Now they just run more old made for TV crap.
Thank heavens for SONYHD, HDNM and MGMHD and STARZ WESTERN Channel. Some good, some crap.
