Some twisted minds here have determined what they want to believe, not reading nor attempting to understand what was said. Typically my posts did not fit their idea of their Free Republic template and I am there fore condemned to hell.

One poster has gone so far as to absolutely lie about what was posted. That lie is the result of over exuberant inability to respond in a rational manner.

Homosexuality isn’t catching. It’s indoctrinating. Christianity can, has and should oppose it head on. Bring it out into the light and save these young souls.

As a practical matter, if an openly homosexual Scout wanted to bunk one on one with another specific kid, would that raise any alarms with you, the Scout Master or other Scout leaders? It would with me.

As a practical matter, an openly homosexual Scout would not be any other Scouts bunk mate by those young men’s own choice. I think this is a big win for us and a huge loss for the Pink Mafia.

We should redouble our efforts in Scouting and every youth pastor should be the Scout Master. Get them special training in leading youth out of the homosexual lifestyle.

Well, here it is. Explain what you mean by this comment:

The article is about Southern Baptists choosing to end their financial/membership support for the BSA. It seems a little over-the-top to say that merely withdrawing purely optional sponsorship, is an act of jihad. So I wanted to understand whether that's just what you meant, or if you had something else in mind.

Withdrawing sponsorship is essentially a passive thing: it's saying "I decline."

A withdrawal of support is not war.

Our poor girls are surrounded by this crap everywhere:
schools, universities, pop entertainment, and most of all, by our own US government!

But..... if you think I should give up my GS membership because of the liberal crap being applauded from the top of the organization, I ask when you plan to give up your US citizenship because of it from our government?
