Fatso just blinked.
No replacement until October, which means one less Dem vote for amnesty and other issues on Obama’s agenda. We all know that the Dems will win the Senate seat regardless of when an election is held. And Christie is coming up for reelection. This is the best way out for him.
Christie will appoint an interim until then though.....
Lautenberg has been absent for most of the year. So it's not one less, except on paper.
Are you not paying attention? Christie just paved the way for the Dems to retain the seat via the special election this October.
“I know Governor Christie. Nice guy. “
You sir, are a liar. No acting governor would do something so contrary to their political parties best interest and the interest of the people who elected him. Your glossing over his betrayal by saying he is a “nice guy”, just gives cover to the support he has offered to the fraud in the White House.
A “Maverick” move.
Yep, I have already written him off as a presidential contender from the GOP. But this is a rather artful approach to walking the political tightrope. Calling for a special election may make him feel like he can be more conservative on the interim appointment.
If his goal is to remain Governor, can’t really blame him. But like I said, stay in NJ Chris.
Of course, if Christie selects a RINO for the interim appointment, the vote cast could be for amnesty. Christie is an amnesty supporter. The vote could take place as early as the beginning of July.
Nice cop-out, you fat f***.
It’s NJ.
It’s not as if he is gonna find a conservative republican to guarantee to vote against amnesty. Forget it.
That being said, Christie is a NE Republican.
When are people going to stop expecting anything conservative out of these guys.
Guiliani is the standard.
Great DA great US Atty, outstanding Mayor. New Yorkers hated him for being law and order on his terms.
Still, pro abort CINO, married a bunch of times. Adultery off the charts.
FOR Get it, fuggetaboutit
$24M to hold the election one month sooner?
Who does the glutton think he’s kidding!
A lap band—is that who plays the music for a lap dance?
Doesn’t that accentuate the incestuous nature of modern politics—and diminish the stature of Jr.?
“The Republican governor, during a press conference in Trenton, said he wants to make sure New Jersey voters have a “voice and a choice”
The people of NJ voted for this fat slob of a Republican and part of his duty is to delegate someone to fill in the seat of a dead senator until election time.
Fatties never make hard decisions
What a pansy.
What a frikkin’ coward! And this idiot thinks he’s gonna be president?
