The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 2013. Ten key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown
Telegraph UK ^ | Nile Gardiner

The last few weeks have been among the worst of Barack Obama’s time in office, recalling earlier periods of turmoil for the president in 2010 and 2011, when his ratings also plummeted. In 2013, the situation is significantly worse for the White House, with the Obama administration engulfed in a series of major scandals (IRS persecution of conservative groups, the Benghazi debacle, and the Justice Department seizure of journalists’ phone records) that are not only eroding trust in government but also in the office of the president itself. This is undoubtedly a period of steep decline for the Obama presidency, whose imperial-style big government approach is being increasingly questioned not only by American voters, but also by formerly subservient sections of the liberal-dominated mainstream media. In contrast to his first term, Barack Obama is finding himself less and less shielded by the press, and far more vulnerable to public criticism.

0bama's disciples only see a messiah. They do have eyes but cannot see. They will defend him to their death (which might just have to happen).

Obama's been lucky. From his inaugaration, I've felt, we'll been lucky to get through his term without a major catastrophe, economic, political, terror or war.

Obama used up his luck to get re-elected. He slipped through Fast & Furious. He wiggled through the murder of our Ambassador and potentially 30+ other Americans in Behghazi. He got away with calling the Ft. Hood massacre "workplace violence".

It's catching up to him, the Boston bombing, IRS, AP, James Rosen, NSA, ObamaCare. We're only 4 months into his second term. It's going to be a long, slow 3 years and 8 months. I'm praying for God's mercy to avoid a major catastrophe.

"And he’s never been more arrogant or defiant."

As shown by the recent naming of Rice as Natl Security Advisor.

Give it time. If you look at the timeline of Watergate and compare it to the Obama admin....it took well over a year with Watergate (and Clintons impeachment) to fully develop and get action.

IMO, as much as I’d love to see people frog marched out of their offices and put in jail right now....there’s a process and being government, it’s always slow. I still have hope anyway.

The real question is who will ultimately pay for all of these scandals. Unlike Watergate and even Clintons fiasco, where there was only one big issue...with Obama, it’s an octopus of issues and scandals. And I think it goes back and forth on which one is the bigger scandal...Benghazi, IRS, AP phone tapping....and now there’s the EPA and NSA thrown into the mix.... Who all will be thrown under the bus as sacrificial lambs and how long will it take to go up that chain of command to where we all know the directive came from?

If ANYTHING, these scandals are the tip of the iceberg of corruption in this administration. And IMO, the more that comes out, ever so slowly that it is, the more people it affects. And the more people it affects, the more people wake up and see this admin (and our corrupt govt) for what it is. Minds and lives are being changed.

THAT to me, is better than just punishing those criminals right now. Because it’s the sleeping, complacent people that put them there in the first place...it’s our culture and society that need changing, and need to wake up to reality and truth, if we are really going to fix this mess.

I like that bridge/media analogy. I copied it as my Facebook status for today. :)

Pretty damn sad that we get more honest reporting from the Brits, concerning what’s going on here, than with the US papers/media.

Agree. They provide the details the US MSM ignores in spite of the fact that
nearly half of the country did not vote for O.

Lincoln was a strong believer in the virtue of dealing honestly with people.

Have often thought “ what would Lincoln think about Obama”

1. He’d be proud that a black man was president

2. He’d be disgusted that this form of black man was the one to hold that honor

Most Americans don’t know who Ben Gazi is.

he played for the new york yankees

He used to be the batter behind Beirut ( Babe Ruth) thats why most don’t
know who he is.

Imperial is such a perfect word for this administration. Subservient is a dead on description of journalists.

There is nothing stunning about it and this is no consolation whatsoever.

He won the election and you are now stuck with him.

Every time I begin to think how uneducated and illogical I am I stop and realize that I recognized the truth of number one even before the national suicide event of November 2008. Maybe I’m not so hopeless after all.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20) I don't think we've begun to experience the "woe" yet. Unfortunately.

No we haven't begone to see the "woe" yet. What we are experiencing is God's hand of protection being lifted of our nation . In his Infinite mercy he is warning us to turn back before the destruction comes . The house is on fire and people are ignoring the warning signs to seek shelter.

We have one living next door who is a physicians assistant.
She just lost her position as the medical practice is being closed. Several physicians are giving up.
Consequences can be a bitch.

Will she ever get it?

Reason #1) His primary goal is to destroy America.

Reason #2) He's unqualified to run a lemonade stand.

Reason #3) He's lazy.

What a nausea-inducing photo...she's overwhelmed with emotion at gazing adoringly into Zero's eyes. One can only hope family members will get her the help she so desperately needs...absolutely sickening that anyone could be so flat-line stupid.

'Not sure about Zero, but I never knew you'...G-d have mercy on this misguided soul.
