The fallout from Michelle Obamas heckling incident continued Thursday, as some defenders of the first lady charge that the heckler used coded racial language, and in general spoke from a perspective of white privilege.
These folks point to a comment protester Ellen Sturtz made after she interrupted the first lady during a fundraiser and challenged President Obama to fulfill a campaign promise and sign an order banning federal contractors from discriminating against gays and lesbians.
Rather than speak over Ms. Sturtz, Mrs. Obama left the podium and confronted the heckler in person, saying shed leave if the heckling didnt stop.
She came right down in my face. I was taken aback, said Sturtz after the incident.
What, did Sturtz think the first lady was just going to let the interruption go on, or hand her the mike?
Sturtzs description of the encounter was a breathtaking bit of projection and entitlement that also tiptoed dangerously close to the angry black woman stereotype that Mrs. Obama has been dogged by for years, writes Anna Holmes, founding editor of the feminist blog Jezebel, in a Time Magazine column....

New Game ~ “Rock, paper, scissors, black, gay”
Lucky for Obama, since he's both.
The left is turning on itself. I knew the Obamas would be good for something.
Never get into a car w/ an angry black woman. Just ask Chris Rock.
Any objections to the Obamas are racist. If you disagree with that statement you’re racist. If you defend yourself from the racism charges in the two previous sentences you’re racist. The fact that you haven’t already given the computer, tablet, or smart phone you’re reading this on to a minority suggests you’re racist.
May I suggest a new game based on your post to replace Rock Paper Scissors... Gay Muslim Black...Muslim enslaves Black, Black beats Gay, Gay negates Muslim.
So now, you can be called a racist even when not using racial epithets. It's enough to "speak from a perspective of white privilege," which is much more difficult to objectively define.
Regards,
Right, some here are missing the point because they don’t like the heckler or Obama.
The heckler didn’t say anything racial and the article is trying to spin it into racism.
There is a BIG issue here with the “white privilege” crap used in this article. White privilege is being used to justify racism against whites, the schools are teaching kids that action against whites doesn’t count as racism. Dangerous territory.
It’s always fun to see one “protected” class take on another. Too bad we didn’t have a handicapped illegal Mexican Muslim in the fray also....
She would have been told to "talk to the hand" and it would have been over.
Yep. They ‘poison the well’ from the start by making the charge, then act like they just commented on the weather.
There’s no reasoning with most Democrats. They don’t know how to argue. More importantly, they don’t care.
Hey, Moochelle! Take it down to the Chuck-E-Cheese, willya?
Michelle was lucky this guy wasn’t around.

You can take the woman out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the woman.
You're absolutely correct, and what is really scary is that Leftists are now really coming out of the closet with this white privilege/white guilt mindset (see MSNBC and mainstream newspapers) because they believe America has passed a tipping point. The Left thinks that they have so ingrained this mindset into successive generations that it's now become the cultural zeitgeist. They also believe that America's increasingly non-white demographics are willing to accept the white privilege narrative as truth. Sadly, the Left is likely right.
Probably. She’s a leftist, after all.
If she uttered a single syllable, the answer would be yes!
