Thomas might have been treated unfairly. They note that at the time of her comments she was an opinion writer, not a straight-up reporter, and hadn't been one for 10 years.

Naah. If a conservative pundit ever wrote or said such a thing about Jews, that pundit would be celebrated and possibly appointed to a cabinet position, or maybe named as our ambassador to Israel.

But, if any pundit from either side of the aisle were to say "The Palistinians should go back to Jordan", that's a different story. That pundit would probably be arrested and convicted of a hate crime, after the IRS audited him and seized all of his assets.

What a bunch of hooey. Rush and his ilk can’t get away with the most silly things as opinion shows, yet HT can get away with a blatant hateful comment because she writes opinions?
