If we rank our scandals according to the long-term damage they are likely to do, then the worst is surely our ceaseless civil dissension -- the inability of our leaders to enact even a pretense of getting along.

Without reading, Bush is King Lear, the rest are easy, where they don’t morph from one character into another, depending on a fleeting attitude or quote.

Clinton, Kerry, Obama = Polonius.
By the way, Polonius #1 political tactic was spying on people.

Bush is King LearWhere do you get that? At best, Bush is Richard II, with Henry V thrown in, but only from Part I.

Wheres Shakespeare? He's in the alley,
with his pointed shoes and his bells,
Speaking with some French girl,
Who says she knows me well.

At best, Bush is Richard IIRichard III, actually.
But really, this is all too complicated. Just go to Hamlet: "...This above all; to thine own self be true. And it must follow as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man."
