The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has discussed its revamped security regulations with the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) in light of the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, 25, in Woolwich, south-east London, which it said had even provoked attacks in the United States.
The security improvements encouraged by CAIR, America's largest Muslim advocacy group, encourage the building of transparent fences around mosques, wire screens on windows, designated security officials, three-inch-thick doors, panic alarms and safe rooms.
Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for CAIR, said: "From the outside it definitely seems UK mosques are more at risk than anywhere, including the States. There have been a number of recent incidents targeting UK mosques, groups like the English Defence League marching on mosques and a spike in violent right-wing groups."

According to Tell Mama, the government-funded monitoring project that records anti-Muslim attacks, about 12 mosques have been targeted since Woolwich, including one in Grimsby where three petrol bombs were thrown. Counter-terrorism police are investigating whether an arson attack on a Somali community centre in Muswell Hill, north London, was in response to the killing of Rigby. The letters EDL were found freshly painted on the building's walls, although the far-right group denies any involvement. Tensions have also been inflamed by Old Bailey hearings last week documenting a planned terrorist attack on an EDL demonstration that prosecutors say would have sparked a "tit-for-tat spiral of violence and terror" across the country.
Fiyaz Mughal, director of the conflict resolution charity Faith Matters, said too many mosques remained vulnerable to attack in the aftermath of Woolwich. Mughal said that, of the UK's 1,500 mosques, 1,300 urgently needed to improve security.

It's been a very long time since Christians had to bother with beating up on Moslems since they do such a great job of it themselves.
Muslime “safe room” is actually a secure torture chamber where they can lock the door and no one will interrupt.
So. They are forts.
You would think a religion of peace would have nothing to worry about. It is amazing how many Christian churches have little to no security. Just perhaps, the problem has something to do with their religion and how they live their lives based on 8th century values.
I suggest that the real solution to their security is to go back from where they came. Islam and the west doesn't mix, and for as long as I am alive, I will make every Muslim know that. They have no business in my culture. They need to stay in theirs.
Seems another name for a ‘safe room’ in a mosque would be a ‘target rich environment’. Are they afraid the Christian will rush in and commit mass baptisms something. It work with Presbyterians or Methodist, they could use super soakers. Baptist and Pentecostals, however are going to have logistical problems.

Most houses of worship are always tight on money, you wonder where these mosques, which are often very huge and not filled with people can get the funding to do all of these things, especially since most Muslims are low income immigrants.
Or used a pressure cooker bomb on a Moslem assembly.
Maybe they should also warn soldiers to beware of people with long beards...

They do this every time there is another barbaric Moslem attack on western people. This is just a cheap trick to get the attention off the real victims—us, and on to them. This is a passive agressive way of getting us riled up. This will become more obvious as time goes by.
Moslems do not only commit murder and mayhem, they also use many stealthy ways of provoking us. This too is part of their jihad, any offense to us large or small, overt or covert is part of their war on the infidel.
