Two puzzling photos that do not bear close scrutiny were published in 2010 on the mybarackobama.com campaign website, adding further mystery to the man who left surprisingly few documented footprints in the sands of time as he came to adulthood.

My brother is good at detecting fakes. I’ll email him these. That pic definitely does not look legit. If you look to the right of him, right behind his ear down past his shoulder, that certainly looks re-made. Look at his shoulders, that one is lower than the other.

Look closely at him. Any one else notice he has no legs? From his belt down, there’s nothing there. Unless he’s sitting very wide-spread eagle, I see no legs. Looks like he was dropped in to the photo.

Nope I didn't say that. I don't believe that one is possible to tell. And yes it does look suspicious, but simply the fact that it looks manipulated does not tell us who or why it was done. And the idea that it is conclusively the hand of Frank Marshall Davis (as the labeling states) based on this one photo? Please. I would need a larger, much cleaner image and preferably a photo from which FMD appears in similar pose to draw a solid conclusion. Besides, look at the darkness of the white guy's arm behind Obama's left arm. Is that Frank, too?

I believe the grandfather was shifted left and 0bama inserted between them. The bricks behind and to the left of the grandfather are all screwed up and do not match the texture of the bricks to the right of grandma. The bricks to the left of grandpa might have been extended out beyond the photo's original width. The bricks to the right of grandma should've been copied then pasted to grandpa's left, but apparently shoddy work was done. The 'trio' photo is altered. Only grandma and grandpa sat together for this photo, originally.
