That is a perplexing question that has puzzled me for some time.
I think that somehow the Chris Matthews and Katie Couric types think that if the entire country could just become a socialist encampment living behind a virtual wall like pre 1990 Berlin, they would get to be part of the Champagne sipping ruling class that enjoys all the pleasures of elitist life in Martha's Vineyard and Jackson Hole.
If the full evolution of their dream ever came true they might be disappointed to learn the like the French collaborators who helped the Nazis they would be disposed of quickly because they have shown they can't be trusted if they would turn own their own country.
Follow the money to total POWER over the unwashed masses. So it was in the past, so they want it to be in the future. There are always those that believe that Madame Guillotine will not fall on them.
Good question. It has taken me half a lifetime puzzling over this. IMO these people are sociopaths, driven by a need to control others. They have no fear of God for their immoral and illegal actions and they're ignorant of the Biblical warning about gaining the whole world only to lose your soul. Their god is power, evermore power, and it has totally corrupted them.
A moral, sovereign, constitutional America stands in the way of World control. The NWO needs for the US and individual states to have their independent teeth pulled. (All for our own good, mind you).
Empowered individuals and empowered states stand in the way. That’s why global gun control is also necessary.
Turning America into another socialist welfare state, gutting and hollowing-out the world’s last super-power, destroying capitalism linked in all Western countries, fomenting race riots like Zimbabwe, disarming American Citizens, putting the UN in control of the world... there’s scores more reasons, but those are just for openers.

That’s a good question. One thing about America was really important. It was a Christian nation. I mean really Christian. Studies showed that. It was also very prosperous. Those two things weren’t supposed to go together. They didn’t anywhere else in the world. As such it was the primary enemy of and roadblock to all other ideologies. The two big ones are Islam and Communism.
The 47 percent believe that they will get lots of free stuff.
The stuck on stupid ones will be shocked when the realize that healthcare is not free, etc.
