The temptation to exert power is the biggest one. It’s not in the 10 commandments, but should be.

Commandment 11:
Thou shalt not weild power over others unfairly, for revenge, for personal gain, or to punish thy enemies and reward thy friends.

It goes beyond seeking revenge or personal again, it goes to the heart of evil of greedy power.
They want to feel they have power over the whole universe.
Just like Lucifer wanted to be like God.
They want to control every aspect of people's lives, in how they eat, where they can travel, whom they can talk to.
It's about possensionship of humans, whether they live or die.
The key word is possession.
Look at it this way, it's the devil's revenge against God to possese people like this to make other people's lives misrable.

That's why Jesus told us the Torah would never be abolished.....ALL of God's written Word is still relevant....and what we should be living by.
