MOORE, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities say looters have come from as far away as New York and Virginia to steal from victims of last month's tornado in Moore, Okla.
The Oklahoman reports ( http://bit.ly/18UQjGJ ) that police arrested one man from Elmhurst, N.Y., and two from Virginia on misdemeanor complaints of stealing copper wire, scrap metal and other items from homes destroyed by the May 20 tornado. Twenty-four people were killed.....

I would think such idiots would even know there is an Oklahoma.
In Louisiana you can get 3 years and a maximum of 15 years for anyone convicted of looting during an emergency. You can also get a 10,000 fine in addition to the sentence.
Just charge ‘em with the new felony created in New York, “annoying a cop”.
Misdemeanor is way too light a charge for looting victims of natural disaster!

Because of IRS targeting of conservatives - the left is doing everything they can to prop up the lie that conservatives are violent - that we 'deserved' to be targeted.
We need to fight that... it's just not true.
Detroit could solve their blight problems if there was value on wood too rather than just copper and other metals. Let the scrappers have their way with the abandoned homes just as long as they haul out the wooden structures too........
Here in S.E. Michigan, I've seen gas stations with big signs saying "We accept EBT cards".......
As a side note, merchants don't even care anymore about what products are being purchased on EBT cards and that goes for tobacco and alcohol products......
That’s because EBT cards also have cash put on them so they essentially become a debit card that can be used almost anywhere.
Just explaining since people equate EBT cards to food stamps only.

The cards are for food stamps and welfare. You can purchase anything you want with the welfare portion, even use them in atm’s
I am in my sixties and have witnessed a horrific degradation of the American culture in my lifetime. It is what it is, though, it is certainly interesting....and a good time to be old.

Yep, and then hang their bodies by their necks from a high, visible place for all to see. Anyone caught looting or stealing from those affected by that tornado deserve to be shot.
I can't think of anything lower than stealing from someone who's just lost everything.... (oh wait: Our Congress and President do that every day!)
