It’s we who have to face the reality they are way ahead of the population’s line of thinking....they are not in the business of respecting anybody...including themselves. The sooner we as a nation people get up to snuff the better...but I am more than concerned that will not happen.

One thing BO was right about...the majority of American’s simply don’t care....they are busy living life..he just failed to mention they are trying to manage the fallout of the decisions he’s making.

Whether you have noticed or not, the entire intelligence apparatus of the USA has been directed at the American people in the last few years.

When it was protecting us from foreign threats, everybody tolerated their Colonel Flagg routine. But now that we are the targets, they deserve some disinfecting sunshine.

There is something called a social contract. We tolerated their prima facia un-American behaviors as long as we all believed they were protecting us. Now it’s clear they are not protecting us, so they need their wings clipped. And they cannot hide their criminality behind secrecy laws.

The law on secrecy does not cover criminal behavior.

Who has been charged and tried with criminal behavior? This 29 year old who now claims to have been given authority to wiretap anyone? Aren't you even the least bit suspicious?

I ask once again, do you really believe this "revelation" will have a negative affect on Obamabots?

Well, there are a hell of a lot more “solemn oath breakers” running the effing show, I’d say actually a majority. And if your “solemn oath” puts you in a position where others get to ass rape the Constitution and Republic, it looks to me like it’s an obligation to break it.

I noticed long ago. What's taken so many so long to catch on? The majority simply doesn't care. If they did or had, Obama never would have been "elected" POTUS.

And this so-called "revelation" by a 29 year old hiding out in China will bring them to justice?

Fine, you got it before anybody else. Then why are you attacking him for exposing this garbage behavior? According to you, he should carefully stick to some code of secrecy and hide the criminal wrongdoing from those not as wise as you.

He's just a cog in the machine. He has no power to bring anybody to justice. But that's not the function of whistle-blower. The whistle-blower's role is to bring to the public's attention abuses of authority. It's now up to the public to get legislators to start holding hearings on the subject and putting pressure on Obama to fire the people involved. Whistle-blowers are relatively powerless individuals. The only way they can attempt to effect change is by telling what they know. The rest is up to us.

The NSA is the traitor, that’s who. They gave the finger to the 4th amendment, and somehow can capture every email and text in America,,,yet, could not catch Hassan when he was writing emails to Anwar al-Awlaki. And they cannot notice the Tsarnaev brothers are practically having a digital chechyn jihad before Boston.

All because they are unwilling to target moslems.

Attacking? WTF are you injecting? Why did he shop his "story" around?

I ask yet again, do you really believe this "revelation" will have a negative affect on Obamabots?

somehow can capture every email and text in America,

So who or what has the ability to go through everyone of them and check the content? What about codes, foreign languages, etc.?

The same people who elected and re elected the POS? Good luck with that!

All because they are unwilling to target moslems.

Their mission is to target Americans who don't think "correctly". Run for a local office, and make a splash? Your dirty secrets will somehow wind up in the hands of your opponents, who will crush you.

Tie this capability with the IRS's new power over all things healthcare, and you have a great tool for controlling the lives of large numbers of people who don't think "correctly".

Who cares about Obamabots? i’ll settle for waking up normal patriotic Americans who believed the NSA and CIA were targeting the enemy and not us.

And it was you who was criticizing him for “breaking the law” and “being no different than Manning”. So yes, id call that an attack on him.

This man, unlike Manning, was careful to not release anything that would risk individuals in the field. He only exposed the factual wrongdoing of the intelligence community. Illegally searching the domestic communications of everyone in America in flagrant disregard of the 4th amendment.

“Who has been charged and tried with criminal behavior?”

Nobody has charged the NSA with violating our constitutional rights under the 4th amendment, and Holder will not do so. Just like Fast and Furious.

-Surely- the absence of Holder bringing criminal charges is not your standard as to whether or not laws have been broken by the NSA?

“This man” may be honestly mistaken.

Why is this whistleblower getting so much more attention than the 4 Benghazi whistleblowers whom are more mature and far more experienced and credentialed? Since when do we find the NSA front and center of multiple new cycles?

Why shop his story around? To find someone who will print it? To find someone who won’t make it into a personality story about him until a week later? To gauge a newspapers balls not to turn on him? To find a reporter intelligent enough to explain what he is exposing?

There must be a 100 reasons to shop it around. BTW, if his intent was to make money, he could have “shopped” it to several foreign governments. He didn’t.

Why the hell have you been asleep?

id(sic) call that an attack

Just posting a factual observation. You evidently can't tell the difference.

Illegally searching the domestic communications of everyone

He damn well better have solid proof of "EVERYONE".

Computers can scan them for addresses, recipients, contacts, etc.

But surely you do not suggest that the governments inefficiency in going through the stolen communications somehow makes it all better. Do you?
