Did you turn blue?I turned colors that remain undiscovered by modern science.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. It’s pretty cool that he just figured he’d throw it back. Good reason we protect our fisheries - what remains of them - from the Chinese, Japs, and Russians.

No. It was cooked and blue and that’s why I sent it back.

If anyone doubts it they can always go to the local pet shop, buy a blue crayfish, and do the experiment.

I saw what I saw. I did not send back a red lobster. All else is theory.

I live in Maine, and lobstermen from time to time catch lobsters that are yellow, white, blue, etc. These rare lobsters are feature stories on TV and other local media.
These unusual lobsters are sent to public aquariums in Portland, ME, Boston or elsewhere.

And the initial “excuse” they offered for the change was lame - the colors change with a party-in-power shift - knowing that by the time the shift happened again, the public would’ve forgotten and had little problem with Red R’s and Blue D’s.

Blue lobsters were caught all the time in Long Island Sound.
In 1994 I caught one and donated it to the Norwalk, CT Maritime Aquarium.
I also caught a bright orange one that was even more spectacular.
