After sending a subtantial volume of email in last few weeks to Sens. Chambliss and Isakson, I was unable to get through on any of their phone comment/contact lines this morning. And I will keep trying.

I hope this means we are frying the phone lines in opposition to the cloture vote on S.B. 744 early this afternoon.

By every means necessary, "congress" is going to ram this amnesty through. DC has wasted so much of our money and our entitlement programs are running on fumes.
You better believe DC congress-critters see this amnesty as putting millions on the tax roll (i.e., a new population to fleece). This is nothing more than government trying to sustain ITSELF by introducing new tax payers. It will fail and we will be in worse shape but that won't matter, DC will still be sitting pretty and that is all that counts to those elitist a-holes.
