Cummings: Unnamed ‘conservative Republican’ behind IRS abuse
Daily Caller ^ | 6/11/13 | Patrick Howley

Posted on 06/11/2013 2:54:34 PM PDT by Nachum

Rep. Elijah Cummings has yet to reveal the name of the “conservative Republican” IRS agent he claims started the agency’s improper targeting of conservative groups, despite evidence that the targeting was overseen by a registered Democrat working out of Washington, D.C.

Cummings, a Democrat from Maryland and the top Democrat on the House oversight committee, claimed this week that an unnamed Republican manager in the IRS’s Cincinnati office started the agency’s targeting of conservative groups, and that “the case is solved” with no evidence of White House wrongdoing.

Cummings claimed in a letter to Republican Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa, dated June 9, that his staff had interviewed a “conservative Republican” manager from the IRS’ Cincinnati office who took the blame for the improper targeting.

Hey the dude might be right on target. It would not be hard to see anti T Party folks such as McCain or Grahame behind the effort to destroy the T Party.

Cummings is the poster boy for what’s wrong with liberal Black politicians. He is extremely stupid and a shameless liar. Utterly contemptible.

I keep hearing these childish leftists bleating how, "It was Bush's fault, because he installed the director who was at the helm while the abuses took place."

What they fail to mention is the fact that Bush was being "bi-partisan," appointing someone with completely different political leanings.

Unlike Barky, who only installs political hacks and thugs who do their master's bidding without direction, to destroy anyone he sees as his enemy, which turns out to be much of America, at least the productive part.

What is Cummings’ explanation for a conservative Republican targeting conservative groups? The guy is a wacko. A couple of years ago there was the myth of Tea Party activists spitting on black congressmen - well, I WOULD spit on this guy. The lying creep deserves it.

Regarding your comments on Cummings - mega ditto. The guy comes across as a slack-jawed moron, and a shameless liar on top of it.

...claimed this week that an unnamed Republican manager in the IRS’s Cincinnati office started the agency’s targeting of conservative groups...

Yeah. That makes all the sense in the world. Of course, since Cummings is a lib Dem, the "news" media will treat this as if it is already the proven truth.

What irritates me is that Dems can get away with such obviously idiotic behavior and outlandish claims and the media treat it as if it could be possible.

If a Repub tried this with an "unnamed Democrat", no evidence but the Repubs word, the "news" media would jump all over him wanting the proof and the name.

From some info coming out lately on this, the IRS culture under Lois was totally intolerant of anyone conservative and or republican.

Instead of a minimum age to serve in Congress, the Framers should have required a minimum IQ. They anticipated much, but Elijah was beyond their imagination. Saddest part: he’s not alone, he has lots of company in the sub-room temp IQ caucus.
