When women start doing what men have traditionally done, yours is a civilization of the setting sun. This is brought to mind when pondering a recent Pew Research Center study showing that women are now the primary or sole breadwinners in 40 percent of American households. You may have heard the story -- it created quite a stir on Fox News, with Greta Van Susteren and Megyn Kelly (who became quite hysterical) taking exception to male colleagues' warnings about the development's sociological implications. But if these two ladies, and the other critics, had reacted rationally and not emotionally, they would realize what is obvious:

Likewise, it was a sign of crisis when women had to assume men's roles in the factories during WWII, but the idea was that the crisis would end and normalcy resume. But today we are in perpetual war -- culture war -- in a never-ending crisis in which we fight ourselves and confuse losses with gains. No, the intersex wage gap isn't a bad thing, and it isn't good when it starts to close. The size of that gap correlates with the health of the nuclear family; the larger it is, the greater men's ability to support their families and women's opportunity to stay at home with the children. Obama must be very proud. America will be on it’s knees soon. I do believe the majority of female breadwinners are in single parent households. So, Obama voters.
It means that the 0bama regime is succeeding in putting all the men out of work.
The author claims that because more women are breadwinners, America is doomed. He says nothing about a decline of public morals that has led to the decline of the two-parent family. It's that decline which produced these single parent households that require female breadwinners.
Apparently, the author just wants his damned sandwich.

If our men are overseas in wars, then times aren’t so good.
If we could cut taxes in real ways, then fewer ladies would need to work and we’d have better children, raised by mothers and not nannies or teachers.

As a white male working in an industry that is highly regulated by feds and known for sharing executives with presidential administrations, I'm not ruling out design.
That’s nowhere near 40%....doc1019 may have it if female head of household = “breadwinner.”
That segment is so small as to not be worthy of discussing.
And nobody is begrudging them anyway. Nobody ever has,,anywhere.
They were discussing 40% of households. At most, 1% of households are single moms earning because of deployments and war wounds. And actually it’s far below that. We do not have 3 million in the field.
Of college educated women, 90% of divirces are initiated by them, with fully a third blindsided, that is, the husbands had not been given a clue prior to service of papers.
One might be tempted to intepret these stats as an indication of the success of women, but, from my observation in the working world, it is more the result of affirmative action-type policies which promote women at the expense of men (and often at the expense of efficiency). After all, you don’t get any “diversity” points for a white male.

It's assinine to blame women for the failings of men.
I see no problem with 40% being the breadwinners. There is some ratio of Divorced - Unwed Mother - Highly Educated / late mothers. I would like to know what that is.
I’m a bit superstitious though and worry that these are portends to a brutal war with horrendous casualties.

Relax, I can assure you that ‘many’ men don’t want to rape women and children while viewing pornography.
Totally blame the other sex as being mostly irresponsible criminal sexual deviates - very babyish approach, but no doubt how many women prefer to think of things to justify their own undeniable societal failures.
