I have two hispanic spouses of children in my family, so kindly don't accuse me of being a bigot. There may be bigots here, but saying a lot of people are is just plain wrong. Frankly, there are more bigots on the other side of this argument than here.

I understand that MOST people who went through the immigration process legally hate this bill. It's a horrible bill.

I was preempting comments that veer from mentioning the awfulness of this entire policy to a degraded mockery of Mexican culture and Obama’s color, for instance.

As the spouse of an Hispanic, I consider that sort of ignorance free game. And it makes me tetchy.

Thank you for stating this. I take umbrage with people who hold hands with the Left to broadly accuse others of racism (isn't that a form of racism?).

The fact is, and always has been about the rule of law and proper assimilation. I dare anyone to name any other country on the planet that allows anyone - let alone tens of millions - to just walk into their country, take their wealth, and then deemed these people victims and reward them for their illegal action with the full faith and blessings of the host country. Name one country.

And, despite all the extraneous noise, all this is being done for the purpose of cementing a permanent Democrat majority. This is the same thing the Labor Party did in England with Muslim immigrants, with the exact same motivations of Democrats. See how well that is working out?
