Yes that is TRUE, the Lord is OUR ONLY Salvation, but if we have to live under a government here on earth-and still “supposedly” live under a free government. Prayer is a start, but we also need a “battle plan”! God Bless, JJS.

1. Stop Open Primaries. 2. Ensure an honest, accurate election.
Both of these commonsense measures are strongly opposed by the leadership of the current uni-party.

I’d rather take my “Uncle Sam” by the bootstraps, throw him in the middle of I-70 and let him get run over a couple dozen times then throw lob all of D.C. in the Patomic R. to never be seen again.

Well, we got to ask ourselves, why are we praying the prayers.

The prayers that always are answered yes are those that are prayed for the sake of the love of God, that His love would grow in the saved, envelop more and more of a lost people, and at least touch others even if not save them. Everything else is only an implementation question.

It really is a love affair of God. It’s that easy!

We look at America and see a big fat failure.

God looks at America and sees a big fat opportunity.

Well it can be done but prolly a poor idea to discuss it on an open thread. Just sayin. :-)

Oh and one more thing. Invest your work in your love life with God. We will always work; it’s only a question of WHAT we will work for. Some people gather, pray, then go about their own merry way of perpetual trivial pursuits. God says “hey, that’s not what I want.”

Conserev1: “With out money there is no power!”

True, but my point was simply that politicians aren’t necessarily interested in riches for themselves. Some just like the power. Look at the senate. Most of ‘em are already rich enough to have whatever material comfort they could possibly want. A large percentage are so ancient and physically impotent, they look like they’re ready to fall over at any moment. We know they aren’t in it for pleasures, like sex, that might motivate younger men or women. No. They’re in it for raw power, and they’d take it to the graves with them if they could.

How do we do that?

We have to make it the priority.

Run candidates that want to reduce the size of government.
Donate only to candidates that want to reduce the size of government.
Support only for candidates that want to reduce the size of government.
A litmus test, want to reduce the size of government... IN
don't that want to reduce the size of government... OUT.

It doesn't matter about color, race, religion, age, or anything else.

The politicians, the media, and other self serving individuals keep us divided in a hundred different ways. Fighting with each other while they run the country as their own private enterprise.

And the task of kicking evil’s ass (with a holy foot) has to be taken each day at a time. It’s not wrong to plan, but once planned it’s wrong to fret or worry. The Lord himself will direct if and when variation on the plan, or adopting another approach, is required.

Let ObamaCare® fully implement and low wage earners and middle class will go nutz.

I reluctantly agree. Constitution-ignorant patriots have shown themselves to be "fire" fighters, not "fire" preventers.

Needless to say, if only a small group of taxpayers voted, the crap would be gone, and an entirely different slate of candidates would emerge.

You're dreaming.

How different are we going to be from countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Britain, Ireland, Italy, or Israel? How different could we be?

If we were to become less like Europe and more like Mexico or Peru or Colombia or Algeria or Thailand would that necessarily be a good thing?

Cancel your newspaper subscription, stop watching network news, mock the New York Times and Washington Post... Let them know they lack gravitas and credibility...

Our top MSM newspapers MISSED every major scandal but they can tell you the best wine to drink - and the coolest way to make coffee.

If newspapers had been as inane in the 60’s they would have missed the civil rights movement and the war but told us about the best brown rice and what the term ‘groovy’ meant.

Let the MSM know they’ve become the punch line to a bad joke.

I agree. But what about the cable media? They still get paid even if you dont watch them. They get a subscriber fee from every cable customer. If you are not part of the Nielsen survey you dont affect their ratings.

How many people are willing to cut their cable tv in protest?

They've shown, in perhaps sporadic, but consistent, examples, that they are willing to kill you and your family to protect their eminence.

If you're not willing to do the same in return, you've already lost.

Poll watch everywhere, challenge, police report all vote fraud.
Report all welfare/disability cheats.
Report all illegal immigrants.
“Get in their faces” with legal challenges.

Someday: Allow only documented citizen tax PAYERS to vote and police it hard.

True and the inital Congress and Senate was only to give 2 to 4 years of service and then go back to civilian life. It was not designed for career politicians! We have encrusted an elite society that runs rough shod on it’s people!
These are not statesmen, but to borrow and old term what we have are Carpet Baggers for a Government!

We do not compromise on our candidates. We hold them constantly to the fire, demand that they defend the constitution and the American people. We do not take into account ‘electability’ of positions, but instead let the issues stand for themselves. We present that thing that liberals claim to be in favor of: Choice.

You can choose to have a government of the government for the government, or you can choose to have a government of the people for the people. Pick one.

There is no other way to do it. The only ‘compromise’ liberals know about is accepting at least part of their position. When have you heard of a single liberal ‘compromise’ where it doesn’t further the liberal agenda, just not quite as far as they really wanted to begin with.

‘I’m not against immigrants at all; we have a system in place for people to come to this country, more than ever have in the history of this nation. More people are taking citizenship oaths than ever before, and many of them have expanded the economy and our overall culture. What I am against are those line cutters who simply use the resources of this nation with no desire to add to it. They are the ones who stand up and demand ballots in foreign languages, who insist that we not call their actions illegal, and that we give amnesty after amnesty.

‘There is only one answer, the same answer that should always be given to line cutters: Shut up, and get to the back of the line. Show us you really want to become members of this country, and follow the rules.

‘And I don’t particularly care if you came here as a baby, or even prior to your birth. I’ll take any immigrant who wants to follow the rules and be a part of this great nation vs someone who thinks that they can just take whatever they want. We’ve got more than enough of those already here who think that rules are for lesser people. Rules are for everybody; politicians, citizens, there are no more equal people here.’

That is the only answer that would work. We HAVE to give the electorate a choice. It can never again be socialist vs socialist, where a supposedly ‘conservative’ candidate IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GOP DEBATES advocates for more government intervention in daily life. No more Romney, no more McCain, no more Rudy.

FATHERS. The problem isn't the government, it's the voters who want big government. The size of the fed is a symptom. The cause is the prevailing social(ist) welfare mentality of the citizens. So the question is not how we reverse engineer the fed, it's how do we correct the perspective of Americans. Long story short: the cosmic hierarchy of God, father, mother, child has to be reestablished. When the fathers become responsible, patient, corrective, effective leaders, worshipers of God and not goddess, the universe will realign and all will be well again.
