This is already happening in England. There are towns where the local council is requiring upwards of 7 or 8 bins- and heaven help you if you sort things into the wrong container. Fines and no trash pick up til you sort it properly. Makes you wonder why Bloomberg doesn’t just emigrate....
Wheelie bins:
Grey, General waste.
Green, Mixed recycling.
Brown, Garden waste.
Dark green, Food waste.
