Global warming alarmists have been caught doctoring the results of a widely cited paper asserting there is a 97 percent scientific consensus regarding human-caused global warming. After taking a closer look at the paper, investigative journalists report the authors’ claims of a 97 percent consensus relied on them misclassifying the papers of some of the world’s most prominent global warming skeptics. At the same time, the authors deliberately presented a meaningless survey question that allowed them to twist the responses to fit their own preconceived global warming alarmism.
Misleading Question
Global warming alarmist John Cook, founder of the misleadingly named blog site Skeptical Science, published a paper with several other global warming alarmists claiming they reviewed nearly 12,000 abstracts of studies published in the peer-reviewed climate literature. Cook reported he and his colleagues found 97 percent of the papers that expressed a position on human-caused global warming “endorsed the consensus position that humans are causing global warming.”
As is the case with other ‘surveys’ alleging an overwhelming scientific consensus on global warming, the question surveyed did not address the issues of contention between global warming alarmists and skeptics. The question Cook and his colleagues surveyed was simply whether humans have caused some global warming. Most skeptics, like most alarmists, believe humans have caused some global warming. The issue dividing the two is whether humans are causing a global warming crisis demanding concerted action.

Yeah. I was skeptical myself, but when they started talking about executing Global Warming deniers, I knew they had to be right. Now that I've purchased a few hundred grand worth of carbon credits from Algore, though, I'm covered - I'm going to be allowed to exhale for at least 12 more months and I can inhale all I like. What won't science think of next?

The global warmists go far beyond alarmism well into the extreme reaches of fanaticism. There is nothing in the way of principles, truth or reason to anchor their fanaticism, nothing for steering them away from corruption, just a blind determination to control the world, even if it means fudging all their data to make it conform to their propaganda. There is nothing in any of the so called “scientific data” gathered by warmist fanatics that can be trusted as real science.
I want to pause here and talk about this notion of consensus, and the rise of what has been called consensus science. I regard consensus science as an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you're being had.Let's be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world.
In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. If it's consensus, it isn't science. If it's science, it isn't consensus. Period.

Nor did it slow down the powers that preside over us- they simply went into stealth mode- passing all manner of ‘carbon taxes’ without us even realizing it- raisign hte prices of EVERYTHING thanks to the tax increases- (while simultaniously denying seniors veterans and dissabled folks any cost of livign increase for 3 years- just so dear leader and his family could party till they drop)
I said it 2 years ago- the left used to be coy and sly- now they coudl care less abotu tryign to hide their disdain for decent moral citizens- they throw their constitution violating crap in our faces and dare anyone to try to do somethign about it now- they are blatantly attacking our churches, our supreme court, our conservatives, our moral values-
