I do not go armed to rallies.
It's far too likely someone will deliberately misconstrue my intentions.
Or misrepresent my role in it if some quarrel does break out.

Well, our car-full were all armed at that rally b/c the walk from where you had to park brought you through some *sketchy* streets.

None of us prefer *open carry*, in any case.
