A debate with Ryan/Rubio is just what the doctor ordered, I think Rubio/Ryan would be slaughtered much like what Levin did to Ryan on his radio program the other night. I don’t think it matters if it’s the Heritage Foundation or not, but I can understand your misgivings.

“What are that chances that illegal border crossers will be in the 53% of net taxpayers and not in the 47% of benefit takers?”

When was the last time someone got a welfare check from the Feds? Welfare is paid by the states which will give these “legalized” people benefits on day one. The Feds feed the money to the states, which this “comprehensive” bill does nothing to stop.

The "Feds" have very little money of their own. The money the "Feds feed" to the States, comes from one of two sources. It is either rung from the States--which in a Republic are the citizens of each State being victimized;--or it is borrowed against the credit of the States, as a Federal Union, which then is a burden against the future of those States--again, against their citizens' posterity.

We are already over-populated. The gridlock in traffic flow in virtually every large city, is no accident. We do not need new settlers; nor do we need to invite interlopers to stay.

The push for more immigration at this point in our history--I am not talking against allowing in a few folk with extraordinary skills, etc.--the push comes from two sources:

1. The Leftist internationalists, who want to destroy the ethnic continuity of the American people, for purposes of political control, building new "World Orders," etc..

2. Very short sighted business interests, who want both cheap labor & more consumers, for temporary business advantage.

The cooperation between these two factions is where you see the bipartisan nature of the push. Whether the America of the future has a recognizable connection to the America of the Founders depends upon our defeating this damnable combination of the crack-pots & the greedy.
