Let’s put a face and a name on the Taliban POW. While the Taliban offer is bad; there are family who have been earnestly contending for his release for four years.
Now: The Afghan Taliban say they are ready to hand over a U.S. soldier held captive since 2009 in exchange for five of their senior operatives being held at the Guantanamo Bay prison.
McChrystal was abused by a reporter telling lies and with the Obama KneeJerk, fired. Seems the Taliban has gained the upper hand since that dumb decision to fire a brilliant soldier for personal reasons.
wait.... how the hell can they be holding an american prisoner for 4 years and this NOT BE DAILY NEWS 24/7 AS IT WOULD BE FOR BUSH?!?!?!?!
Then we should agree to release a couple of Gitmo prisoners who are “Ashamed to be Taliban.”
Implant GPS tracking transmitters in their arms and legs, deep enough that they can’t be dug out with a pocket knife, and then make the switch. Then let the unmanned aerial drones do the rest.

There's Ignorance and there's Stupidity. One is that you simply don't know, and can be corrected by researching with an open mind. The other is that you found the truth and now do know what's going one, and yet still ignore the facts and consequences. When I see some of the clips on cable news of these "Low-Information" voters who nonchalantly dismiss the warnings out-of-hand, I feel sorry for them (somewhat), because they are making their own beds and will have to lay in them eventually.
The unfortunate part is that they won't realize how bad it will be until they are standing in a mass grave with many bodies at their feet with a gunman behind/above them, preparing to end their ignorant life. With our current enemies, it can be beheaded or have your throat slit.
I have already told my wife and kids that I will not go quietly into the darkness...
