KIRSTEN POWERS: I don't support even the concept of a trigger. We're so apart on that. The trigger is set up to keep people from coming into this country essentially because there will never be a point where the border will be certified as being safe as Republicans want to be because there are so many Republicans who don't want these people coming into the country. So, I just think it sets up an impossible barrier to entry for immigrants. ME: Well obviously it does if said immigrant is trying to sneak over here. I.E. Illegally.

The cheap labor interests are still trying to play us. The primary issue is getting invaders out of the US. The border security is how we keep them out. Once the invaders are out of the US and can't get back in illegally, then we can talk about people applying for residency...from their homelands.

Does Powers think that everyone ("these people") who wants to "ever come into this country" should be able to come? That's what she's saying. They must be able to come at some point of Sessions is just a big meanie.
What most never say is that, NO, we can never allow all what want to come to the US to come. And some (Hannity) who constantly say "just go home and come back the right way" imply, again, that anyone who wants to come should be able to come if the just do it "the right way".
All nonsense. We have to restrict how many can come here or we'd be overrun with many millions per year, far beyond the 1.5 - 2 million coming legally and illegally now.
Having a sensible immigration means saying NO to more than we say yes to. And it's a permanent NO, or else we might as well just surrender the country to whatever mob can come here and gain the upper hand.

They can drive to a border checkpoint in Arizona, show their ‘laser visa’ and say they are going shopping in Tucson for a few days. They then drive elsewhere and stay longer.
They can fly into any airport and get an automatic tourist visa and say they are going to disney world, and then get a fake ID and work at Newark airport.
They can ‘come and go all the time’ and then, shortly after their nephew’s inauguration, claim they are fleeing political persecution in a country that is led by the person who your nephew campaigned for.
