BEIJING - President Xi Jinping has instructed the People's Liberation Army (PLA) to implement a "mass line" campaign as part of efforts to build a strong military.

"Mass line" refers to a guideline under which the Communist Party of China (CPC) is required to prioritize the interests of the people and persist in exercising power for them.

The PLA should build inner relations featuring solidarity, friendship, harmony and purity, he said, adding that bad elements such as formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance should be firmly opposed.

The campaign should target serious problems reported by officers and soldiers and result in the formation of a long-term mechanism to guarantee the building of a strong military, according to Xi's instructions.

The CPC has launched a year-long education campaign to boost ties between CPC members and the public through a "thorough cleanup" of undesirable work styles.

I think they hired one of the retired US Air Force generals who invented all kinds of trick mechanisms to show new management changes.

How come the Chinese and Russian commies are acting more sensibly than we are?

This world is so Topsy-turvy where China and Russia promote morality in their militaries and our debased leadership supports perversion in our armed forces. Unbelievable!

As Scott Adams once observed...the words “con” and “insult” may easily be derived from consultant.

Really not racist at all. It’s about the purposeful spiritual and moral destruction of our country. Any inherited genetic traits that we may all have can’t make up for the systematic immorality now being forced on us.

They’re thinking outside the box and embracing a new paradigm while maintaining their core competencies in an ever-shifting threat environment.

Difficult, but far from impossible. My cellphone's made in Korea,my TV's made in Japan, the blank CDs and DVDs I buy are made in Taiwan or Singapore, the hard drive I recently bought was made in Thailand,my car's made in Germany (the sticker said something like "95% of parts made in Germany,1% made in North America"),etc.I *always* look for country of origin when I buy and usually succeed in finding what I need/want that's made somewhere other than China.

Is that your way of saying that when the time is right, militarily and diplomatically, they'll move against Japan, the Philippines,Thailand,Vietnam,Taiwan, etc to seize all those tiny islands around which sits all that black gold?

No, I’m making fun of PLA staff talk with USA staff talk. Anyone can do it, apparently. It doesn’t actually say anything, but it makes staff nerds sound smart for about three seconds.

LOL... about all that’s missing is “low-hanging fruit” and “win-win”. I have an Excel version of BS Bingo populated with the company’s popular buzzwords. Each team member could generate a unique “Bingo card” and play along on their own laptop. Those were the days. /s
