But that didn’t stop Maruse Heath — head of the Philadelphia chapter of the New Black Panther Party — from claiming that he’s really all about charity and outreach as he was arraigned on a gun-possession charge in Manhattan last night.
“It is my understanding that the New Black Panther Party is the functional equivalent of the KKK,” Assistant District Attorney Christopher Ryan countered as Heath, 41, was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bail for getting busted allegedly with a gun in Harlem Thursday night.
Heath, aka “King Salim Shabazz,” was arrested on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard as he left a meeting of New Black Panther Party members. The group had gathered to plan a 15th-anniversary Million Man March commemoration, scheduled for Harlem on Sept. 7.
Heath was unjustly “jumped” by cops as he left the meeting and walked near Seventh Avenue, said his lawyer, Brad Foster, in arguing unsuccessfully for low bail.

It always bothered me that there was a band of loonies outside of Macy’s in NY spouting garbage. They were dressed in strange Arab-looking garments (they weren’t Arabs, they were all from Brooklyn) and they could say anything they wanted against whites and, particularly, Jews.
They were literally calling on blacks to go out and kill whites and Jews in particular. I never even liked to walk by them, because they’d point to any white and start haranguing that person. Most of their audience was black bicycle messengers or other marginally employed people, but it was still very uncomfortable. It must have been worse for the orthodox Jews (with yarmulkes and sidecurls) who worked in the rag trade in the area.
I never figured out how they could get away with it, although obviously NY was afraid to be labeled “racist” by stopping them.
Even though this puke is facing mandatory jail time I say he does none.

Just drives me crazy that neither are full on black. If they were and respected our Constitution, I would have no problem backing them. None what so ever. I would vote for either if they actually believe in our Republic; our Constitution; and rule of law.
But no, they play their racial games to forward their Marxist agenda while knowing they are only HALF BLACK and HALF WHITE, which they conveniently forget and never talk about. They're both black men and the world should never forget it! So they say.

Well this guy certainly doesn’t strike me as an “accidental racist” type trying to make peace and promote understanding. Also that name “Shabazz”. It Indicates to me that he denounced his presumably Christian upbringing because it was the religion of those who owned his ancestors. So he embraces the religion of those who SOLD and in many cases still own his brethren. Is this his idea of getting over on Whitey?
