Atlanta police said a man was shot and killed in Little Five Points early Saturday morning after he tried to rob a group of people waiting in line to buy the new, $180 sneakers, the Nike LeBron X EXT, which were released today.

One man in the line pulled out a gun and shot the would-be robber, witnesses told police, who have charged no one and consider the shooting to be self-defense.

The shooter then got back in line, according to Channel 2 Action News.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

We're giving an enormous amount of money to fools these days. That's because the fool population of our country represents a very cohesive bloc of votes.

I am sure no one tried to stop him from getting back ln line.

My concern is more about what kind of conscience the shooter possesses. Whether the shooting was justified or not, I would be very leery about a person that shoots a person in a matter-of-fact fashion.

The brother should have known better. When the Amish line up to buy sneaks do not fool around with them. :-)

Oh, yeah? What about the fool who blows a year’s salary on a new purple Lamborghini just to impress the chicks, and then spends the rest of the year begging his co-workers for lunch money and camping out at his mom’s house? Fools come in all social strata.

Nothing wrong with any of the stores. They rely on EBT cards and welfare checks though.

You noticed that too. It doesn’t say this was black-on-black but focusing on the noncrime aspects certainly indicates it was such. One more story about how blacks killing blacks is a non story.

(Details from other articles)

White (said) the suspect should have thought twice before approaching the customers. “I didn’t even expect him to come up here, thinking it was that sweet; Thinking it’s that candy land like that,” White said.

Witnesses told police a man armed with a gun tried to rob people standing outside the store. But one of the customers drew his own handgun and shot the robber. Police say the suspect ran just a few yards before he fell dead.

(note the enormous advantage of concealed carry, even when the robber had his gun brandished.)

Video. And it shows the shooting.

He should have shot the shop keeper and the Manufacturer of the sneakers. They are the real robbers. Those sneaker probably cost all of $5.00 to make. A fool and his money are soon parted.

No one is being forced to buy those sneakers. In fact, those people can buy all the low priced sneakers they want. The above statement is a very warped view of what is robbery and what is commerce. It sounds very Marxist.

The irony is that if they sold for $5, nobody would buy them.
