Today, June 25th, is DAY #12 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive first day of opening statements and witnesses took place yesterday.
[yesterday] saw the completion of opening statements and the launch of the State’s case, with four of the State’s witnesses being brought to the stand. In a nutshell, I thought the defense did a far superior job in cross-examination than the State did on direct, with it’s own witnesses, which does not bode well for the State’s prospects in this case. May not bring her back but it looks like her sista is on the prosecutions witness list........who has already been impeached by today’s testimony. The idiot even admitted her sister sat in on the deposition, “so she would know what was going on”. (Paraphrased). The defense attorneys are literally RFLOL right now.

I have been reading GZ’s fathers book on Amazon. It is riveting and he said he will have something to say after the trial. He blasts Obama, Holder, many Fla. officials and those who created a stage in Sanford for the race baiters who protested. He said it demeaned the city. The whole book is written quite well and it is only 3.99 on Amazon if you have a Kindle.
Of course as many high profile trials have taught you never know what the heck is going on with the jury but, if they are all being fair and looking at things the way they should, there is noway not to distrust the state after putting on a lying witness. It looks bad and desperate. Hopefully this jury will see it that way and hold it against them in the end.
Looks like they cut the cameras off at that point. Rumble in the court?

What a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive. I bet Correy and DelaRonda are crapping bricks tonight. Every witness so far has been made neutral at best for their side or impeached.
Thinking back to one of the first TV court appearances, the bail hearing I believe, O Miera had one of the prosecutor detectives on the stand. He asked him some leading question which the investigator a question about the complaint. His words were something to the affect he kept getting bits and pieces and suggestions from the prosecution team about what to put into it. I bet they thought GZ was going to have to bargain this down to a voluntary MS. They kept bringing all the pressure on him they could...investigating his assets, having him put in the can for some trumped up bail mistatement etc.
GZ is going to be the winner of the lotto when this case is over. One more thing, that stupid insurance company that kicked in something like 750K to St Trayvon’s family should have their officers all fired.

I haven’t followed this case in great detail, and am confused about one point. It seems that today’s witness added the directional component to the running. At first, this didn’t seem like a big deal to me (other than the obvious fact that changing testimony is a sign of a lying witness). But I have an idea why the prosecution might have added this part, and would like to know if it is plausible:
Zimmerman’s contention is that he ran after Skittles after the dispatcher asked him what Skittles was up to, and stopped running when the dispatcher suggested that he didn’t have to follow him. In this case, he would have been walking, not running to his truck. If the running was in the direction of the truck, the only explanation would be that Zimmerman was lying. In other words, the only “running” was done by Zimmerman, away from his truck, in order to catch up to Skittles (according to Zimmerman).
Is this a plausible reason for why the prosecution would have coached her to add this “left-to-right” to her testimony? Or am I missing something here?
