Leno: IRS Has Ruled Obama Can Write Off First Half of His Second Term as a Total Loss By Noel Sheppard Created 06/25/2013 - 8:09am
Jay Leno continued his comedic attacks on the White House Monday.
The NBC Tonight Show host said during his opening monologue, President Obama got some good news today. The IRS ruled he can write off the first half of his second term as a total loss.
This was greeted with much cheering and applause from the studio audience.
Too bad we won’t get the same credit for the full 8 years.......
love it !
Maybe they’ll let Leno similarly write off his monologues for the first four years of Obama’s reign.
‘first half of his second term...’???
Really!!?
Oh..c’mon Jay!! The whole farce has been rotten from the START!!
The point I see from this is that it is no longer TABU to make fun of the ONE. In his first term no celebrity would make any jokes about Mr. Cool. Now the bloom is off the rose, and everyone knows he stinks.
Wait until dems running for lower offices do not want him to campaign with them.
Leno is the one getting ‘written off,” Spring of 2014.
The libs in the audience were not laughing. You can tell.
Just the same, and for SOME members of the “O” cult... the intimidation and coercion are very strong... to say only good things or else SHUT UP!
Of course, there are also the people who DO NOT under any circumstances like to admit they have been had!
So, even IF the honeymoon is over, there are lots of people who won't say a thing about their awful choice.
Jay, I love your monologues, especially since you started stating the facts about our would-be dictator, Hussein 0bama, but like Carnac the Great, I see an IRS audit in your future.
Leno is wrong. BO has been quite successful.
Not really, Jay Leno is CORRECT.
That happened when he came to my town, just before the 2012 elections. Went to a local HS, and got introduced by someone like the 3rd assistant principal, or somesuch. Not even the local black pols came out for him.
It was also the trip - if you rememeber - where he used those hyper-expensive tour buses that were built and purchased in *Canada*. Well, one of the places he spoke at was literally across the street from a plant that manufactured ..... wait for it ..... luxury tour buses. Bad, bad optics. Someone either wasn't thinking, or was wanting to send a message.
His choice of transportation was not lost on any of the locals.
He didn't manage to carry the state, but still got re-elected (to my surprise and chagrin).
Agreed, woodbutcher!
Assaults on The One are no longer taboo. Sweet!
With Leno clearing the minefield, I expect a lot more comedians — especially some of the more acerbic ones — to take the field. Let the games begin!
