Putin should offer to swap him for Soros.
Soros is wanted on a warrant in Russia.
Of course this would never happen, but it would be great sport :-)
Wow....Russia is really pi****. This is like watching a rerun of “White Night”...in reverse.
Probably banging Anna Chapman as we speak.

Putin said that Snowden hasn’t crossed the Russian border and is free to go anywhere.
Speaking on a visit to Finland Tuesday, he added that Russian security agencies “didn’t work and aren’t working” with Snowden. He gave no more details.

LOL...great graphic...says it all.
Of course the dinosaur media didn’t report the spat between Vlad and Barry over the fitness center at the hotel during the G8.
GMTA ... six seconds apart.
You know, in a back-handed way this (U.S. high pressure action and insistence) could jeopardize any future political asylum seekers from Russia, b/c if Russia were to hand him over to the U.S. (while Snowden seeking political asylum), the Russians would have every right to insist on anyone fleeing their country to the U.S. (for similar reasons) to be extradited back to Russia.
This is technically correct as long as he hasn't left the transit area of Moscow's International Airport.
I'm trying to remember the name of that Tom Hanks movie where he plays a foreigner trapped in the transit area of JFK International Airport. The customs guy drops all kinds of hints on how he can get out and go into the city, but being a foreign national of an authoritarian state, Hanks chooses instead to follow the official instruction not to leave the transit area until his case is resolved.
Great movie. Of course, at the end, when Hanks finally gets official permission to go into the city, the customs guy goes beserk and tries to prevent him from doing so as revenge for not taking his earlier hints.
But.....but.....aren’t the Russians afraid that Obama will draw a red line?
Yeah, that’s it! Great movie.
O: “KING ME KING ME! !”
Putin:”Checkmate”
Maybe write a strongly worded letter too.
