All of the conservatives in Massachusetts live in New Hampshire. Gomez is a RINO, but Markey is a flaming, dripping red, lunatic communists. But tonight, whatever the outcome, many freepers will come out in favor of Markey because they cannot abide RINOs. It’s a bizarre notion, a sickness that does not infect Democrats. As long as they win, they don’t care what you think.

Amazing how wrong the founders were when they said it’s better to have an enemy at your front than in your ranks. Just amazing.

I agree with your post.

At Least...in a contest where NO conservative can win, maybe a “republican rino” can once in awhile add a vote to our side.

Those Freepers you refer to must believe that only a conservative has a shot of actually improving things. They may also be sick of “victorious republicans” selling them down the progressive river. Or maybe not.

That's because the Democrats know how to keep everyone on the same page. The GOP elects people who will stab our side in the back repeatedly. They may elect a conservative Democrat here and there, but By God, that person will vote the party line 100% of the time it is needed. Why waste an effort to elect a Scott Brown or one of the Maine sisters when they undercut the conservative bills at every turn? Frankly I couldn't care less who wins this one. If Gomez wins, that's better, but not by much. He's immediately vote with the Dems repeatedly in a feudal attempt to win in reelection in 16 months.

There are some of us that have principles. True liberals in office allows for the demise our nation at a much faster rate. With their election we can have a reset to our government much sooner. RINOs only slow it down. I want my children to live at least part of their lives in a free nation. So I will vote for the extreme minority conservative out of principle, if available. I will not vote at all when there is a another Bush, Romney, McCain or Dole running for office.

To be completely clear, if Jeb Bush was running in the next election and Obama was allowed to run, I would not vote for either.

Ditto.

A rino still has the R behind his/her name when committee chairs are decided. If we had real leaders like the dims, it wouldn’t be a concern if the party had a few rinos because the leadership would keep them in line or find a replacement.

It is a numbers game, the more we have the better.
