This is really an unbelievable story. There are guys in sports that would be less surprising, but Hernandez seemed pretty bought into the Patriot way (I am not Pats fan, but appreciate their organization’s way of selecting and managing players). He had some issues in the past, but nothing of this magnitude.

Patriots usually do a pretty good job of not taking on trouble players or at least managing them. I guess Belichick thought he could manage Hernandez. Sometimes you just can fix thug.
